Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
This waives the renter's liability for damage caused only to the hired vehicle
if it is involved in a collision. This waiver carries a excess/deductible or
liability of a certain amount. For example; in France it starts from 450
upward depending on the type of vehicle. This waiver often excludes tyres, glass
(windows etc) & towing depending on the Country of rental.

Liability Insurance also known as Third Party Insurance.
This is the very minimum insurance you need by law in most countries to drive.
It covers the renters liability for any damage caused to other people or other
peoples property. It is generally caped or limited to a maximum of
1,000,000.00. This is very limited insurance which may have an excess depending
on which country you are driving in.

Cancellations
Cancellation of a booking must be made a minimum of forty eight (48) hours
before the rental of the vehicle is due to commence pursuant to a booking made
on this booking engine. If you wish to cancel a booking, the only accepted
method is through our
Website. In the event of a
cancellation notice of which is received by City Car Rentals within seven (7)
days of the car rental booking date and at least forty eight (48) hours before
the rental of the vehicle is due to commence pursuant to a booking made on this
booking engine all funds will be reimbursed. In the event of a cancellation
notice of which is received by City Car Rentals outside seven (7) days of the
car rental booking date and at least forty eight (48) hours before the rental of
the vehicle is due to commence pursuant to a booking made on this booking engine
all funds except a cancellation handling/ administration fee of 25.00 and the
non-refundable Administration Charge (Card processing fee) where applicable,
will be reimbursed. In the event of a cancellation (notice of which is received
by City Car Rentals less than forty eight (48) hours before the rental of the
vehicle is due to commence pursuant to a booking made on this booking engine no
funds paid will be reimbursed to you, unless the entire rental amount has also
been pre paid City Car Rentals will retain 3 days rental and Administration
Charge (Card processing fee) where applicable. In the event of a cancellation of
a booking when the entire rental amount is payable on arrival, there is no fee
for a cancellation but you still need to cancel your reservation through our
Website.
It is the responsibility of the consumer to personally cancel
any other ancillary product that they may have purchased in conjunction (Side by
side) with their vehicle reservation, i.e. LOSS DAMAGE WAIVER EXCESS
REIMBURSEMENT INSURANCE through third parties like insurance4carhire . In
the event that you cancel or amend a credit/debit card booking City Car Rentals
will not be liable for any monetary losses suffered by you as a result of a
change in monetary exchange rates between the time of your original booking and
its subsequent cancellation or amendment (as applicable).
Premium Location/Airport Fee
It is now common with most Airport & City Car Rental companies to charge a
location fee for collection at a premium location.
The premium location/airport fee is included in ALL City Car Rentals car hire
quotes.
